Cat’s Meow Second Union Rosenwald School

Second Union School, built in 1918 and operated until 1959, is the oldest surviving of the Rosenwald schools built in Goochland County, Virginia. The African-American community and Goochland County contributed money to pay for the school. The school is among 5,000 built in the United States using money and plans from the Julius Rosenwald Fund.​
