ICE CREAM SOCIAL

Join us on August 5, 2023, at 2:30 pm at the Goochland branch of the Pamunkey Regional Library (3075 River Road West) for an afternoon with historian and writer, Mary Miley Theobald, who will talk about the history of ice cream. The presentation will be followed by an ice cream social. The event is sponsored by the Goochland Library, the Friends of the Library, and the Goochland County Historical Society. Mary Miley Theobald received her B.A. and M.A. from the College of William and Mary. She worked for Colonial Williamsburg and for many years taught American history and museum studies at Virginia Commonwealth University.
